Your First Kids Birthday Invitations

Sure, your child is not going to remember his or her first birthday invitations or the party celebration. He or she might never get to see how beautiful your first kids birthday invitations look or how long it took you to make them. But we still do it even if it’s only for the memories that will remain in our hearts for a life time.

Gathering those first birthday party supplies is not as simple as it looks. Many moments take place on this special day that need to be treasured. We, the parents, helping the child cut the cake, the little single candle on the cake, the screams that make our child get scared and so much more. Each moment on that day is very special. So, it is very important that you plan well ahead for the event. And where does everything start? With those first birthday invitations!

One of the biggest mistakes most parents make in the arrangements for that first birthday of their child is to prepare a huge list of guests and send their kids birthday party invitations to each of them. Of course celebrating the child’s birthday is a must, and you want for everyone to see the great kids birthday invitations you have prepared, but since it is the 1st birthday, it would be great if the family members and relatives can see how important they are and to be treated well. Their blessings are more important than the dinner for the huge crowd. Keep the list of guests as short as possible. Sent out your kids birthday invitations, to only relatives and close friends who really care about your child’s bright future and success. If you decide to send those first birthday invitations to a huge crowd, it may turn nasty when you end up serving and catering all their needs and missing out on those wonderful treasuring moments of the child’s laugh, growth and a beauty that sparks on the child. If you are inviting children to the party make sure that they constantly have something to pass their time with such as a movie, music, books, crayons or balloons.

Keep it simple. As I recommended above, since you will only send your kids birthday  invitations to the important people and your close friends, it is unnecessary to spend loads of money on throwing a lavish party even if you can afford comfortably. Remember, the child doesn’t remember anything of these first birthday invitations or the celebration. Partying at a resort or renting a function hall would be a great idea if the child enters into a school where he or she play around and enjoy his own birthday with tons of friends around. In other words, your home, a party room or even an evening in a park is much better idea for a location to host your party.

If someone asks for what sort of gifts would you prefer for the kid, get ready to suggest few gifts within different price ranges. Prepare a list of it forehand and also let your guests know who’s presenting what, so that there would not be any same gifts. Try not to mention this in your kids birthday party invitations, since that could come out as a little shallow.

Also, try to remember, that everybody will most likely know that it’s your first birthday invitations, so they won’t be harsh judges. After all, this is just the first of so many to come. But for that same reason, you also want to make it special!
